very nice fruit trees and the workers are very helpful in answering questions i hear several negative comments before traveling no matter how far i always call in advance to make sure you are open . thats good advise for anyone whom plans on traveling far away for a visit CALL FIRST, i have only had good experiences here and plan on coming back for more fruit trees soon
We were so excited since learning of Eco Farm. We told family & friends all about how excited we were to SEE this place. We finally were able to travel to Ft Meyers for a visit, a 5 hour drive. I called for information, I felt the woman was rude, at best she was short with me, she had no interest in me, she said go to the website. Which I had already done. We were crushed. We had hope to do a tour then spend a week volunteering. That won't be happening. We don't care to spend our time and money to be treated badly.
ECHO global farm is extremely innovative. The tour was very informative. They are helping farmers around the world to feed their families and communities. The tour was very family friendly, but involves a lot of walking. Make sure to bring water.
Loved the tour of all the different growing regions and farming techniques. Guide was very knowledgeable.
